Find out what will Niehoff display in China
Once again the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) will host on September 26-29 China’s No. 1 trade show for the wire and cable industries. Maschinenfabrik Niehoff and Niehoff Machinery Changzhou Co., Ltd. (NMC), its Chinese subsidiary, will display at booth W1F63 a MMH 121 + RM 201 type multiwire drawing machine from Germany and a D 631.5 + ARP 630 type high speed double twist bunching machine made by NMC.
H. Folke Sandelin AB (HFSAB), specializing in horizontal lead extrusion and cable repair and recovery systems, will be a co-exhibitor at the booth.
The multiwire drawing machine MMH 121 is designed to draw simultaneously 14 wires in one level for a diameter range from 0.20 mm up to 1.05 mm. The MMH 121 is combined with an inline annealer type RM 201 and can work with a speed of up to 40 m/s. The MMH 121 is best suited for the production of electronic wires as well as for building wires. As the MMH machines are based on a modular principle, they can be built ideally adapted to the specific tasks of customers. The wires drawn on these machines exceed the most demanding specifications and processing requirements as far as physical properties and can be processed to multiwire bundles with outstanding characteristics. Up to now, more than 1,500 MMH lines are in operation world-wide.
The D 631.5 Single-bow double twist bunching machine and the ARP 630 pay-off are both built by NMC under Niehoff license to match the high requirements of the Chinese market. The machine is designed for strands with a cross section of 0.09 to 6.00 mm² and a steplessly variable lay length of 6 to 100 mm. The maximum number of twists is 6,500 twists/min while the maximum linear speed is 300 m/min. The machine is equipped with AC drive technology, contactless transmission of machine data within the machine, field proven energy-saving ECO-Bow and an NMI touch-screen display with color user interface and simplified navigation structure. Another special feature is the perfect tension control for the winding of the strand from beginning to the end of bobbin using a load cell and dancer.
Maschinenfabrik Niehoff has been active in China since the early 1970s. Assisted by experienced Chinese engineers, Niehoff has successfully introduced rod breakdown and multiwire as well as super fine wire drawing technology to many wire and cable factories in China.
One of the pillars on which this success in the marketplace is built was the Niehoff Service Center in Shanghai founded in 1994 which became the Niehoff Shanghai Representative Office in 2000 and eventually changed to the Shanghai Sales Branch of Niehoff Machinery Changzhou (NMC) Co., Ltd.
NMC is a subsidiary of the Niehoff Group and situated in the Wujin Economic Development Zone in Changzhou, approximately 200 km west of Shanghai.
