A new home for Mario Frigerio

The MFL Group reports that its iconic brands, MARIO FRIGERIO, supplier of steel wire and rope manufacturing and processing machinery, and FRIGECO, specialist in machinery for the non-ferrous wire and cable industry, which previously operated out of four separate facilities, have combined their operations into a single new facility in Molteno, Italy.
According to the Managing Director Emilia Tentori: “We were in our first location for 100 years and we wanted to build something for the next 100 years.” For the company, it became clear that investing in the MFL Group, future could result in substantial synergies. That vision became reality last year when the multiple facilities and two divisions consolidated operations in a state-of-the-art, 320,000 square foot (30,000 sq. meters) facility that now houses all engineering, manufacturing, assembly, machinery sales, after sales and service and administration. Previously, those functions were splintered as a total of four buildings were being used. Now, they are all located in a single corporate and manufacturing location.
The new facility boasts a fully computerized manufacturing floor where all Mario Frigerio and Frigeco machines are manufactured from raw material to finished parts. Each part can be tracked through the entire manufacturing cycle, a process that is cutting edge. All critical parts are statically and dynamically balanced on site and all parts are subjected to 100% quality control.
