Breaking news: Mario Frigerio acquires Caballé and OM Lesmo

The MFL GROUP (including MARIO FRIGERIO and FRIGECO) announced the official acquisition of the well-known cable machinery manufacturer Construcciones Mecánicas Caballé S.A. based in Badalona, Spain.  

The transaction was concluded on September 23rd, and the acquisition package includes the Caballé, OM Lesmo and Eurodraw Energy brands with their corresponding intellectual property. 

This operation will significantly strengthen MFL Group’s scope of supply for non-ferrous wire drawing, stranding and extrusion equipment.
The three well-established brands, along with MFL Group’s financial muscle, 120 years of industry experience, and its broad engineering and manufacturing knowledge base in the sector, further reinforce the company's commitment to its non-ferrous wire and cable customers.

By exploiting the combined history of Caballé, OM Lesmo, Eurodraw Energy and FRIGECO the company will be able to guarantee continuous technical improvement and unmatched customer service.
