Almost everything we use in our daily life was packed in a container at some time. In order to be shipped, these containers need to be loaded and unloaded, and it is not an easy task. PM, XN and MS Series by MFL production lines are well-suited to produce crane ropes for this job, regardless of diameter and length.
The PM Series - planetary strander & closer line - outputs steel strands and ropes in single or multi operation process.
Main features:
- multiple types of pay-off unit. Spool flange Ø630mm to Ø4000mm;
- high speed planetary type on bearing up to 800mm spool flange size;
- multiple back-twist drive solution according to customer’s needs;
- easy setting device for back-twist drive;
- automatic lubricating and cooling unit for gearboxes.
The XN Series - bow skip strander & laying up line - is designed to produce steel strands and ropes.
Main characteristics:
- bow skip strander available in 1+2 and 1+6 configuration from Ø250mm spool flange to Ø1250mm;
- high resistance bow in composite material for high speed operations;
- smooth passages of wires and strands;
- automatic lubrication unit for rotor bearings and transmission greasing;
- easy operation and maintenance procedures.
The MS Series - tubular strander & closer line - engineered to manufacture steel strands and ropes.
Main features:
- monolithic basement for easy installation and strong execution;
- accurate unwinding back tension self-regulating system;
- pay-off spool loaded on cradles featuring anti-tilting device;
- easy operation and maintenance procedures.
