MFL Group to present a new fully automatic double-spooler

One example of the company’s know-how is the KSS 1800-A/M from Koch Machinery & Technology GmbH (a brand of MFL Group), which is the right answer for the production of reinforcement steel wire coils.

This fully automatic vertical spooler has all the characteristics professionals generally look for, namely a 30-plus-years lifetime, reduced maintenance and labor costs, and an increased productivity.

The KSS 1800-A/M can produce coils with weight up to 8.3 tons and wire diameter up to 25 mm. The spooler is fully automatic and doesn’t require any operator intervention, as even procedures such as the initial wire fixing to the spool, or the wire samples cutting are carried out automatically. Likewise, further steps are also fully automated, from the spool change by integrated turntable, through to the weighing and tying of the coil, to the unloading and onward transport by roller conveyor. This leads to significantly reduced production time and overall better efficiency as a result.
