Efficient drum take-up with the Pail Packer Machine

Wire and rope manufacturers will also discover the Pail Packer Machine (PPM), a high-efficiency drum take-up system designed to minimize permanent wire twists and optimize downstream payoff. Compatible with a wide range of materials—including high, medium, and low-carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, CO₂, and flux-cored wires—the PPM accommodates coils up to 2 tons. Its ergonomic design improves handling and energy efficiency, while reducing downtime and maintenance needs.

Sustainable rod preparation: Draweasy and electrolytic phosphating

MFL Group will also present its Draweasy mechanical descaling system, an environmentally friendly alternative to acid pickling. Designed to prepare rod for various wire types—such as bead wire, spring wire, welding wire, and steel cord—Draweasy eliminates harsh chemicals from the process while maintaining high-performance standards.

To complete rod preparation, the company also offers electrolytic phosphating lines. These systems enhance drawability and oxidation resistance, particularly for demanding applications such as LRPC strand and wire.
