Coil to bar peeling lines

The Coil-to-bar Combined Lines are composed as follows:

1 - PAY OFF, studied to reduce at the minimum level the gap between the end of the drawing of a coil and the beginning of the next one. The PAY OFF is equipped with a platform rotating by 360° moved by an hydraulic gear motor.

2 - Robot, where the manipulator is a kind of extension of the operator's hand. Equipped with a gripper.

3 - Pre-straightener, made of two groups: one with a vertical axis with reversed rolls and the other one with horizontal axis.

4 - Pulling unit, composed by a sturdy structure with a dc motor. Made of prismatic guides, feed control and return carriages thanks to a wire hooked by a clamp with an hydraulic control.

5 - Straightening machine, realized with a passage between set rolls, positioned with a decreasing interaxis and by 90° between the first and the second straightening roll. It allows a processing in sequence of the two parallel sides alternating of squares and flats.

6 - Flying shear, with an hydraulic imput and bushing-to-bushing cut, which allows to decrease the specific pressure arisen by the cutting stress on the material and improves the quality of the point in order to obtain a surface cut orthogonally with the axis of the bar.

7 - Two-roll burnisher, designed to straighten round bars of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Precious support both for inline processes with drawers and outline.

8 - Chamfering machine, composed by two unities positioned one in front of the other, where the chamfering units are assembled on the point of the bars. In the middle there are conveyors to transfer the bars in the working position.

9 - Strapping, composed by a metal structure where the strapping machine is integrated. It enables the automatic execution of a series of bindings starting from settings on the proper instrument. The weighing section, composed by a series of cells, allows the execution of the weighing of bundles of bars before the unloading of the bundle of bars. The storage for collecting bundles is composed by a series of motorized chains which allow the collection of bundles of strapped bars and transfer them in the position of unloading of the line.
