EIB Srl is pleased to introduce Eurotrafo Srl, a new company in the electrical sector founded by partners with deep industry expertise, combining hands-on field experience, specialized technical knowledge, and ready access to key materials to serve the needs of industrial plants, electrical contractors, and facility operators.
Transformer maintenance is a strategic activity for ensuring operational continuity, safety, and system reliability. For this reason, Eurotrafo Srl focuses on targeted inspection, maintenance, and support services aimed at preventing unexpected downtime, identifying potential issues, and extending the service life of equipment.
Electrical transformer inspection and maintenance
Eurotrafo Srl services both cast resin and oil-filled transformers, providing inspection and overhaul services for equipment used in industrial facilities and electrical substations.
Specifically, the company performs the inspection and overhaul of cast resin transformers rated at 15, 20, and 23 kV, with power ratings from 160 to 2,500 kVA, as well as oil-filled transformers rated at 15, 20, and 23 kV, with power ratings from 250 to 2,000 kVA.
These services are complemented by specialized mineral oil treatments, including filtration and regeneration, PCB/PCT content analysis, and dielectric strength testing. These inspections and processes are essential for assessing equipment condition and ensuring long-term performance.
Components for electrical substations and medium-voltage systems
In addition to maintenance services, Eurotrafo Srl maintains an inventory of readily available materials for work on electrical substations and medium-voltage systems. Immediate component availability helps reduce procurement lead times and enables rapid response in the event of failures or replacement requirements.

- Watertight elbow cable terminations, including ENEL-certified versions

- Current transformers (CTs) and toroidal transformers, solid-core and split-core
- Open-delta voltage transformers, 15–20–23 kV (loose)
- Open-delta VT enclosures for 15 kV systems
- Instrumentation for CEI 0-16 switchgear panels
- Substation accessories: document holders, safety signs, insulating mats, platforms and gloves
- Protection relay testing
- CEI 0-16 UPS systems
- Medium-voltage conductors (bare), 50/95 mm²
The product range also includes medium-voltage switchgear from Siemens, Sarel, and Schneider, busbar risers, fused disconnect switches, VT cubicles, CEI 0-16 Gas Free cubicles with dataloggers, and CEI 0-16 Gas Free cubicles equipped with open-delta VTs and dataloggers.
Technical support for scheduled maintenance and emergency interventions
Eurotrafo Srl serves both customers planning routine maintenance activities and those requiring rapid intervention in critical situations.
