FIB: video support and remote-control technology

Being isolated from outside with no airplane communications, an important Russian group was able to ensure the full assembly and safe start-up commissioning of a galvanizing line in the middle of the Covid crisis thanks to tele-support by the FIB technical teams.

The FIB teams, working jointly from 3 different geographic locations with the customer (that has already some experience with the FIB equipment), were able to successfully support the whole operation, finally saving 2 months of possible “waiting time” by the customer. The production has started while the borders were still closed saving precious production time by the end user.

Daily intensive video-conferencing on a shared platform – taking into account the local time by the end-user-  combined with electronic remote supervision of the equipment (TelediagnostiC³ 4.0) and Go-Pro camera solutions proved the capability of breaking new limits in service to the FIB customers.

TelediagnostiC³ is an encrypted tool allowing the end user the analysis of data, allowing diagnosis and support on the FIB equipment.

Being easily connected with the FIB support teams via an encrypted web platform, the tool allows rapid in-line/off-line remote diagnosis and support by the FIB technologists.

Combined with video tools, it brings comfort to the end-user to make sure having a full support when needed on short term notice, saving time, traveling costs of the expert and standstill time of the equipment if any.

DAS DiagnosticC³ 4.0 system interface showing a dashboard for industrial process monitoring, a graph of furnace temperature data, data storage options like CD and smartphone, and a detailed diagram illustrating data flow from factory automation (PLC, I/O Server) to office departments (Quality, Planning) for traceability, preventive maintenance, and quality control.
