Higher combustion efficiency with QED new ART Mk4 immersion burner
QED's latest development in ceramic lined furnaces is the Advanced Recuperative Technology Mark 4 Immersion Burner. Immersion burner furnaces are built to coat continuous in-line steel wire strands with either zinc or Galfan®. Employing a cutting edge combustion design, this new type of burner offers dramatically higher combustion efficiency. Constructed of stainless and high nickel alloy steels, it has an extended operating lifespan and a much cooler skin temperature.
ART Mk4 immersion burner heats the incoming combustion air by channeling it through a two-pass annular labyrinth with the hot exhaust gases passing the opposite side of the heat exchange surfaces. With the integration of the patented “Pressure Control System” and proportional flow technology QED has developed a combustion system that accurately and individually controls the firing rate of each burner and provides a high turn-down ratio.
