This phosphate-free solution is applied at around 40 °C, delivering significant energy and water savings, along with simplified maintenance.
When used in combination with shot blasting, polymer coating becomes fully environmentally friendly. The process eliminates the need for rinsing, thereby avoiding wastewater treatment. It also operates without corrosive fumes and at a significantly lower temperature than phosphating, further reducing energy consumption.
Polymer coating can be applied in a traditional immersion bath or via aspersion, which helps minimize bath volume. Additionally, it supports inline continuous processing. A typical setup includes shot blasting, hot water spray washing, polymer coating, and drying—optimized for single-wire processing.
