Engitec establishes a new subsidiary in the United States

With this mindset, Engitec’s Board of Directors has recently decided to establish a new subsidiary in the United States, to be named Engitec Americas. In its initial phase, this entity will operate as a representative office and a logistics hub for spare parts, supporting key players across the American and Mexican markets.

In parallel, the company will explore “Make in America” opportunities, with the objective of relocating part of the value chain closer to the end-use locations of its plants. This strategic approach will enable Engitec to strengthen its proximity to clients and installations, ensuring faster response times, enhanced technical support, and the gradual development of local manufacturing capabilities.

A strategic step for closer customer support

The creation of Engitec Americas represents an important milestone in the company’s international growth strategy. By establishing a direct presence in the United States, Engitec aims to reinforce long-term partnerships with battery recyclers, lead producers, and industrial operators throughout North and Central America.

The new organization will focus on improving after-sales services, spare parts availability, and operational assistance, allowing customers to benefit from more efficient and responsive support. The initiative also reflects the company’s intention to adapt its industrial model to evolving market dynamics, where local presence and supply chain flexibility are becoming increasingly important.
