Ponziani strengthens its safety culture with ISO 45001

E. Ponziani S.p.A. has taken a further step forward in the development of its organizational and industrial structure by obtaining ISO 45001:2018 certification, the international reference standard for occupational health and safety management systems.

The certification applies to the management system adopted at the company’s wire drawing plant for the production of cold-drawn carbon steel wire for springs. Valid until December 2028, it confirms a structured, documented, and verifiable approach to risk prevention and to the protection of personnel involved in production activities.

The role of certifications in the metalworking sector

In steel processing and wire drawing, where machinery, materials, and process parameters require constant control, workplace safety is an integral part of operational efficiency. ISO 45001 promotes an integrated management approach that connects work organization, defined responsibilities, training programs, and continuous improvement.

For companies operating in the springs and metal components supply chain, this translates into greater process reliability, reduced operational risk, and improved production continuity. Safety management therefore becomes not just a compliance requirement, but a concrete industrial asset.

Looking ahead to wire 2026 with a clear industrial vision

In an industrial context increasingly focused on process robustness as well as product performance, achievements such as ISO 45001 certification contribute to defining a company’s positioning and long-term vision. In this perspective, Ponziani is already looking ahead to the next major international industry events, starting with wire 2026 in Düsseldorf, as key opportunities to engage with customers and partners on the evolving challenges of the wire and spring supply chain.
