Trafilerie San Paolo celebrates 60 years and looks to the future together with Acciaierie Venete

Sixty years of industrial experience, continuous technological development, and a new phase of growth within the Acciaierie Venete Group.
Trafilerie San Paolo marks its 60th anniversary with the release of a new corporate video, retracing the company's history while highlighting the identity, manufacturing expertise, and values that have shaped its evolution since its foundation in 1966.
Sixty years of industrial evolution
From 1966 to 2026, Trafilerie San Paolo has continuously invested in equipment, technologies, know-how, and manufacturing processes, adapting to changing market demands and increasingly stringent quality standards across its target industries.
Specialized in wire rod processing and the production of drawn, peeled, and cold-rolled steel coils, the company supplies material in as-drawn or annealed condition, with surface treatments including phosphating and polymer coating. Its products are primarily intended for the fastener, screw, and cold heading industries, where dimensional precision, surface quality, and consistent mechanical properties are essential.
The production range includes drawn products from 2 to 36 mm in diameter and peeled products from 7 to 20.4 mm, meeting the technical requirements of a broad range of industrial applications.
Throughout six decades of industrial and technological evolution, Trafilerie San Paolo has remained committed to its defining principles: manufacturing excellence, process reliability, product quality, and industrial responsibility. These values continue to guide the company's long-term strategy and customer relationships.
A new chapter within the Acciaierie Venete Group
The 60th anniversary also marks the beginning of a new phase in the company's history. Since 2025, Trafilerie San Paolo has been part of the Acciaierie Venete Group, one of Europe's leading producers of specialty steels.
The acquisition strengthens the group's position in the drawn steel sector while advancing the vertical integration of its production chain, from wire rod manufacturing to high-value-added cold processing.
For Trafilerie San Paolo, becoming part of the group creates new opportunities to build on its expertise in wire drawing and complementary steel processing technologies while benefiting from the resources and industrial strength of a larger organization. At the same time, the company continues to preserve the technical know-how, operational continuity, and quality standards that have defined its reputation over the past six decades.
