The company was originally founded in 1975 with the name of Heshan Wire Rope Factory. The real turning point, however, came in 1995, when Heshan Hangkei Steel wire Manufacturing Co., Ltd was officially established and formed a joint venture with the Hong Kong Golik Group. In 2006, the company became the Group’s wholly owned subsidiary.

Heshan Hangkei offers a wide selection of wires and ropes for numerous fields of application: carbon steel spring wire, piano wire, bedding spring wire, bead wire, spoke wire, umbrella wire, ACSR, galvanized low carbon steel wire for armouring cables, galvanized wire strand, high-strength fiber optic cable, zinc-coated steel strand and various ropes.
