Advanced technical treatments for fasteners for superior sealing and reliability

Inoxalca, a company specializing in the production and distribution of commercial screws and bolts, offers a wide range of technical treatments for screws, rivets, and custom-designed parts. These treatments ensure sealing, lubrication, and safety of threaded assemblies. The available solutions include thread locking treatments, sealants, retaining compounds, and lubricants, ideal for high-stress applications such as automotive.

Sealants: resistance and sealing even under extreme conditions

Among the available sealant products, water-based versions and elastic sealants stand out, designed to create an effective barrier against fuels and vibrations. The latex-based sealant provides good chemical resistance and complete 360° sealing, ideal for components that do not need to be reused. Water-based versions offer greater flexibility, allowing fastener reuse and exceptional solvent resistance.

Thread lockers: versatility and performance for adjustable applications

The locking treatment, available in various colors, is a pre-applied polyamide 11 coating suitable for adjustable assemblies, thanks to the possibility of multiple tightening and loosening cycles. It guarantees resistance to vibrations and chemicals, with a standard 180° application and an optional 360° application for superior sealing performance.

Epoxy retaining compounds for precise fixing

Retaining compounds use epoxy resins with high mechanical strength, which cure only after tightening. This allows for a precise and controlled application, ensuring excellent sealing even in aggressive environments. The polymerization process occurs at room temperature within 24–72 hours and makes the fastener non-reusable, ideal for permanent joints in critical conditions.

Underhead coatings: integrated sealing with Plastisol

Finally, Inoxalca offers a Plastisol coating that can be applied directly to fasteners to improve sealing and reduce the risk of leakage. The PVC-based material is particularly suitable for automotive components, thanks to its excellent adhesion to different surfaces.

Inoxalca’s treatments cover diameters from 2 to 35 mm and can be managed in stock for up to 48 months, subject to verification. The company's expertise allows it to respond precisely even to custom part requests, guaranteeing reliable performance in every application condition.
