Hyperion introduces Talus™ clamping system for tungsten carbide rolls

Hyperion Materials & Technologies recently introduced its new Talus™ clamping system for tungsten carbide rolls that expands the company’s complete line of solutions for the steel hot rolling industry. 

Talus facilitates ring exchange and is designed to help steel production operations improve mill stability while decreasing costs. The new system, which is available in both hydraulic and mechanical versions, enables Hyperion to offer additional flexibility when developing tailor-made carbide rolls for any rolling mill application.
