38th FARO, the international commodities club
The 38th meeting of FARO, the International Commodities Club will be held at the beautiful and historical Ferrari
Museum, providing a special program on the 2014 main issues in the Commodity Markets.
Scheduled for the meeting, an overview of various commodity markets, focusing mainly on non-ferrous metals, as well as price prospects for the ferrous, precious metals and energy complexes.
Mr. Garry Jones, CEO London Metal Exchange & Co-Head of Global Markets HKEx will be heading the line-up of expert speakers on day one of the conference. The International metals market session will feature a panel discussion on "Metals market perspective with the LME under new management – different players, different expectations – views from producers, processors, consumers and brokers”, with the participation of David Lilley (Co-founder RK Capital Management LLP), Steven Spencer (CEO Traderight Ltd) and Simon Hunt (Simon Hunt Strategic Services Ltd, Economic & Copper Advisors) and Markus Fyhr (Manager Sales, Boliden Smelters – Sweden).
On the following day the focus will be on the International Economic Scene, with the participation of the former IMF Director Mr Arrigo Sadun and the economist Mr Giorgio Arfaras. Following, the panel dedicated to Italy and brands: how to take a winning business idea from creation to listing on the stock exchange featuring Piero Cannas (President of Italian Chamber of Commerce in Poland), Massimo D’Aiuto (CEO Simest Spa), Ferruccio Rossi (CEO Ferretti Spa) and Giovanni Tamburi (President TIP Spa).
Technical analysis and correlations between commodity markets, currencies and stock exchanges are the best way to gain essential, professional insights into the global business markets. For this reason, more than 100 delegates from all over the world will meet world renowned speakers and markets experts to discuss and debate the future of Commodities.
