DANIELI: GERDAU Brazil - Commissioning of New, Innovative Bar to Bar Drawing Line

Danieli Centro Maskin has just completed the commissioning of a new (the second), latest generation, 120 ton pulling force bar to bar drawing plant. The plant is used to draw round bars up to 104 mm in diameter, and equivalent profile sizes. Three bars at a time are processed fully automatically as follows: loading, unscrambling, sand blasting, end deburring, pointing, drawing, mutli roll straightening for hexagon and square profiles, two roll straightening for round bars, end cutting, cut to length, packing.
