Duesseldorf WIRE & TUBE + METAV 2008: a succeeding fair for the online fair.

Lecco, 7th April 2008 - Three days ago WIRE & TUBE + METAV 2008, the greatest international appointment of the field, came to a conclusion. As we announced, wiredrawing.net’s staff was present, too, with a stand of its own in pavilion 13.

Far more than expected, the project aroused the interest of an enormous amount of visitors. Our staff distributed 30,000 pens and leaflets signed wiredrawing.net, increasing therefore considerably the notoriety of the website and the traffic of the last and the next days. On the “new business” side, we have directly contacted more than 300 companies, all operating in the field. Our staff had the chance to illustrate them the website in all the details, in all its potentialities. Some statistical data that we disclose: the greater part of our stand’s visitors came from European countries. First Italy, to follow Germany and Turkey. Approximately 15% of them were of Asian origins: the fourth represented country, in fact, is India. Greater details in the diagram.   From a general point of view, we can say that the flow of visits to the fair of Duesseldorf has been unexpectedly dense, also in comparison to the numbers of the past years. Wire and tube have topped their already excellent results from 2006, and combined with METAV, there have been 123.000 people from 90 countries visiting the fair within five days.

Consequently, there have been thousands of visitors to wiredrawing.net’s stand, too! Our presence between the exhibitors, that had as its main goal the launch of the project on international scale, can be already defined as succeeding.
The appreciation for the idea and the satisfaction of the exhibitors already present on the network were widespread: the online stands of the firms, in fact, have been visualized hundreds of times on the Internet emplacements at wiredrawing.net’s stand. The same for the logos of the companies, that were projected uninterruptedly for five days on the two big screens, attracting the attention of Italian and foreign visitors.

In addition, the companies present on the network having also a stand in WIRE & TUBE + METAV have exposed for all the duration of the fair a display with the invitation to visit that same company online, on the website www.wiredrawing.net.
