Expometals.net connects to the associations
The editorial staff of Expometals.net is proud to announce the presence on the portal of some of the major international associations in the wire, cable and metal field, these being ANCCEM (Italian spring manufacturers association), AWCMA/VÖDKM (Austrian Wire and Cable Machinery Manufacturers Association), CET (Comité Européen de la Tréfilerie) and IWMA (International Wire & Machinery Association).
These come to be added to ACIMAF, representative of the Italian wire machinery manufacturers, collaborating with Expometals since 2012.
The cooperation with the mentioned associations is the outcome of a sinergy project we called “Let's connect”, open to all the representative organs in the metalworking sector, concerning the categories the portal deals with: wire, cable, springs, and also fasteners, long and flat products, tubes, sheet metal and coils.
Thanks to an agreement between Expometals and ANCCEM, AWCMA/VÖDKM, IWMA and CET, all member companies of these associations can benefit from a 30% discount on the basic participation in Expometals.net, only valid for the first year of participation and for new subscribers of Expometals.
For further information and subscriptions please contact Daniela Di Maggio or Stefano Benetti via e-mail ([email protected]) or phone (+39 0341 580139).
In the “Associations” category you are now given the possibility to browse the online areas of ACIMAF, ANCCEM, AWCMA/VÖDKM, CET and IWMA, and be informed about their aims, contact data and updated news. The section dedicated to CET is still a work in progress, and it will be online within the next few days.
In the Associations page you will moreover find a list of institutions dealing with fastening products, tubes, bars and flat products, and with all the sectors belonging to metalworking without chip removal, the area of interest of Expometals.
A bigger presence of representative associations is consistent with some of the main goals of the portal: offering a complete outlook of the field to the visiting professionals, and give voice to those who closely know this sector.
