Future developments of the Chinese economy to boost demand for wire and cables

Due to a growing awareness for green and energy-saving developments, the coming decade forecasts strong growth in the area of regenerative energies in China (wind power, solar power, nuclear power). This will entail further demand for wind power cables, PV cables, nuclear power cables and other special cables.
The number of high-speed trains, suburban trains and e-vehicles is also rising in China: the consequence is higher demand for bare wire, electric wires and cables, power cables and communication cables.

This is the background to wire China 2016, China’s No. 1 event for the wire and cable industries that will again be held along with Tube China at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 26 to 29 September 2016.
To rise to the challenges in the sector wire China 2016 will expand this year its two segments “wire and cable materials” and “wires and springs” and form a joint venture with the Shanghai Fastener & Tech trade fair.
