Let's make a balance of 2011. And a bit of 2012 too.

Another year has drawn to a close. It's the tenth year, since the very beginning, the launch of the first portal. 2011 was not the easiest year: Europe is going through a period of difficulty and uncertainty. The financial situation, the political framework, the unresolved economic and structural problems don't bode well for 2012.
From our side, we continue to work and to pursue our goals: to give maximum visibility to online exhibitors with minimal cost. And we're doing it exploiting the chances given by Internet, which by all indications is and will be an indispensable means of communication, even for business.

Companies that have invested well in recent years are those that are less affected by the situation. We also have tried to do so, using our resources to make this portal more and more international, more functional, more known and visited. Many of our efforts have been made in the design and development of the third release of the network. In the last decade, Internet has completely changed, and it is important to keep up with the latest innovations and technologies. It is important for us to give you a web tool that is innovative, and above all effective. Finally we are on the home straight of arrival. We won't give you previews, we leave you the surprise to discover everything at the official launch, which will take place shortly before or during the fair in Düsseldorf. The metamorphosis is already happening, and you've got a taste of it, with the new header with which we are presenting ourselves: wiredrawing.net (which was a little restrictive), will continue to exist with the other domains, a hundred; But the new identity is expowire, expotube, expofasteners, and expocoils, all four sectors - wire, tubing, fasteners and rolled sections - now grouped under one umbrella name, expometals, the online fair for metal processing.

Of course we have not only worked on this front. Like many of you, in 2011 we took flights, tacked collaborations, participated in fairs, sought to expand the sales network, and sometimes cursed. The result is that the online fair has gained even more credibility on the international level, and has grown, reaching a peak of 22,000 visits per month from all over the world, 6500 registered companies and nearly 200 online exhibitors. A significant growth, which gives us even more impetus to go forward.

At this point it was necessary for us to make a small gift to the online exhibitors. The best gift that came to mind is this: we bought some whole pages of advertising in international magazines, incorporating all the logos of the online exhibitors. It's a small gesture, but of great importance, to give increased visibility to the companies listed on this portal. Click on "More..." to read the rest.
