wire chinaTwo years after Wire & Tube China 2006 - 615 international exhibitors, more than 17,000 square meters exhibition area, about 30,000 visitors together with Tube China – comes Wire China 2008, the third edition of China's leading event in the wire and cable industry.

wire china 2008Wire China & Tube 2008, organized by the Shanghai Electrical Cable Research Institute and Messe Dusseldorf China Ltd, started on the 23rd September and will last until the 26th. Four days in Shanghai's New International Expo Center (SNIEC), to meet the biggest players of the field.

The fair has become a great platform for the companies to develop businesses in China, and even Asia. The show this year will feature 1,098 exhibitors occupying 57,500 square meters of exhibition space and is expected to attract more than 35,000 trade visitors from worldwide. The high number of international exhibitors is also a highlight. Pavilions from Austria, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain and the United States are sure to catch the attention of visitors with their grand scale.

The main product groups: wire manufacturing & finishing machinery - measuring & control technology - process technology tools - test engineering - auxiliary process technology materials - specialist areas - materials, special wires & cables.

For the event, two special highlighted showcases – “chemical“ and “spring and fastener” - are customized for targeted industry players. There are around 100 exhibitors in the chemical highlighted showcases, almost three times more than that in wire and Tube China 2006. Meanwhile, colorful concurrent activities are also being held, such as a spring fastener forum, the 2008 China Wire & Cable Industry Conference and other seminars.
