Lamiera slated for 2022: new dates
The light at the end of the tunnel is still far away: the Covid-19 pandemic does not appear to subside. Against this backdrop, the recent Prime Ministerial Decree of March 2, 2021, has once again extended the ban on organizing exhibitions of any kind in Italy.
In view of this and of the ongoing restrictions on national and international mobility, together with the requests received from exhibitors, the Organizational Management has decided to reschedule LAMIERA and postpone the event to May 25-28, 2022.
This implies the application of Article 8 of the General Regulations to allocate the amounts paid by the exhibitors to cover the costs incurred for the organization of the event, which, as assessed, will be around 50%. "We are willing to offer exhibitors the possibility of defining an agreement that may derogate from the Regulations and which envisages the charging of the entire amount paid as an advance for the holding of the event on the new date, or for manufacturers a participation in EMO MILANO (www.emo-milan.com) without making any deductions," comments Riccardo Gaslini, Exhibitions Department Manager at UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE. "If this agreement is defined, we will bear all the considerable expenses already incurred to date for promotion and organization. We express our deepest regret for this situation that, unfortunately, does not depend on our will, and, waiting for your communication, we are available for any further information."
Further updates will follow shortly.
