METAV postponed; what about wire & Tube?

In a press release that just appeared on the official website of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, the trade fair organizers and VDW - German Machine Tool Builders' Association - announce that METAV 2020 will be postponed to a later date.

The event, one of the main international trade show in the metalworking industry, was to be held in Düsseldorf from 10 to 13 March.

After the Coronavirus epidemic hit Northern Italy (and in the last few days also the region of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany), the organizers, in close contact with the health authorities, preferred to take a step back by delaying the event. As the note states, Messe Düsseldorf will re-evaluate the situation of the next events scheduled for March, including the wire and Tube.

Update (March 6, 2020): wire & Tube 2020 has been officially postponed to December 7-11 due to the coronavirus emergency. More information at this link.
