North American wire and cable association WCISA changes Board of Directors
The North American Wire and Cable Industry Suppliers Association WCISA® has recently changed its Board of Directors. Drew Richards, CEO of RichardsApex, Inc., has been elected as the new WCISA® President, serving a three-year term, starting on August 1, 2016. Richards succeeds Rahul Sachdev, Executive Vice President of Wire & Plastic Machinery Corp. as WCISA® President. Sachdev will remain on the WCISA® Board of Directors, serving a three-year term as WCISA®’s Immediate Past President.
The following existing WCISA® Board Members were re-elected to new three-year terms as Board Members: Tom Copp, President, REELEX Packaging Solutions, Inc.; Rob Fulop, President, Wire Lab Company; Jim George - Global Business Manager, Cable Materials, Chase NEPTCO; Dave Kiddoo, CEO/Director, IWCS, Inc; Jay Luis, Marketing Manager, Worldwide, NDC Technologies (Beta LaserMike Products); Rene Mayer, VP of Mossberg Associates, Inc.; Gord Murray, Director, QED Wire Lines Inc.; and John Zachow, Vice President – Wire & Cable Systems, Davis-Standard Corp. All of these Directors will serve through the end of July 2019.
David Braun, Wire & Cable Industry Manager, Teknor Apex Co., has been elected to a three-year term as a new Board Member, serving through the end of July 2019.
Existing Board Member, Mike Patel, Director of Marketing and Business Development, Teknor Apex Co., has resigned from the WCISA® Board.
WCISA® is grateful for the volunteer service of the returning, exiting and new Board Members, and it would like to extend a special note of thanks to Rahul Sachdev and Mike Patel for their guidance and service to WCISA® and the wire and cable industry.
WCISA® is a nonprofit corporate membership organization of North American-based suppliers of machinery, materials and accessories used for making all type of wire and cable. WCISA®’s mission is to promote its member’s products and services by providing its members with representation, networking/social opportunities and services at wire and cable trade events and conferences.
