Out now: the Top 100 Global Wire and Cable Producers Database

The Top 100 Wire & Cable Producers Database 2016 by Integer Research has been released on September 6.
The research acts as the barometer of competition across the wire and cable industry, and provides independently verified rankings of the 100 largest producers in the world.

What are the main insights?

- The global wire & cable producers finally hold the line against Chinese cable makers. 
There are still 10 Chinese companies in the Top 30, and 35 out of the Top 100, but no new entrants this year.

- More stability in Europe?
European cable producers finally stopped dropping down the rankings. Companies as Leoni, NKT, Wilms Group and Tele-fonika built up niches in their markets and sustained revenues in 2015.

- In the top 10 there are, in alphabetical order: Furukawa, General Cable, Hengtong, Hitachi, Leoni, LS Cable, Nexans, Prysmian, SEI and Southwire.
