Posco wins Sony order

South Korean steel maker Posco wins Sony order. POSCO Co., the world's fourth-largest steel maker, said it has won a contract to supply electro-galvanized steel to Sony Corp. of Japan. Under the contract, signed earlier in the day in Tokyo, POSCO will supply the steel for Sony's liquid-crystal display televisions, the South Korean steel maker said in a statement. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed. "The deal was meaningful because POSCO secured a stable client amid the worst-ever slump in the automotive industry," POSCO said in a statement.
