Texas, the welding capital of the US. An infographic

“If Texas were a country it would be one of the top 15 oil-producing nations in the world,” states the American Welding Society. The Lone Star State's petroleum industry, calling for welders and pipefitters to construct and repair much of the supporting infrastructure, is one of the reasons why welding is so important here, and why Texas is one of the best places in the world to find a welding job.
