The South African region and its future: CRU Africa Wire, Cable & Tube Conference

CRU, world leader in business intelligence, together with The Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK), will be organizing the inaugural CRU Africa Wire, Cable & Tube Conference.

The event will take place at the Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 11 to 13 November, 2019.
Both key local associations, STEASA (Steel Tube Export Association of South Africa) and AECMSA (Association of Electric Cable Manufacturers of South Africa), and such prominent international supporters as wire and Tube Düsseldorf have expressed their excitement for the conference, being the lead sponsors.

Micheal Finch, Head of Wire and Cable, CRU, described the event as a “fantastic chance to learn about opportunities to boost trade and investment in a region that has traditionally been less understood”.

Major international companies including - but not limited to - the South African Department of Trade and Investment and the Ministry of Mines & Steel Development of Nigeria will present a series of high-level technical papers.

CRU’s experts will also have a word, exploring the main trends in the copper, aluminium and steel markets around the world and how they might affect the wire & cable, and tube & pipe industries development in Africa.
The agenda also includes a day of technical showcases regarding the latest innovations in manufacturing.

Expometals.net is glad to be media partner of the event, one of our delegeates, Mr. Gianni Vood, will be present onsite with a tabletop.
