Wire & Cable Verona 2019 set to include 22 presentations, two plant tours, and tabletop exhibits

The Wire Association International (WAI), Inc. announces its participation as one of two organizers and several supporters of Wire & Cable Verona Italia, slated for October 21-22, 2019, at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, Verona, Italy.

This technical conference features 22 presentations, dedicated to both ferrous and nonferrous topics, which will address the most critical issues in global wire and cable manufacturing. Attendees can expect to meet peers from Italian wire and cable companies and other foreign delegates to discuss the latest industry trends in technical innovation. There will be 40 table top exhibits on site, creating a seamless networking break.

Two plant tours are also offered to Acciaierie di Verona (Pittini Group), which hosts a new steel wire rod mill, and to the electric cable and wire manufacturer Mondini Cavi, both nearby Verona. Tours will be followed by a visit to the historic Venetian Estate Masi that includes lunch and wine tasting.

Commenting on the upcoming conference, WAI President W.T. Bigbee said, “The early registration for this conference indicates that this will be a special event including key wire and cable manufacturing executives from around the globe.”

Registration is now open for attendees; early registration savings end on October 7, 2019. To learn more about the event and to register visit: www.wirecable19.com.

Tabletop exhibit space and sponsorship opportunities are also available but limited space remains. To exhibit, contact WAI’s Bob Xeller, [email protected] or Shannon Timme, [email protected].
