wire Middle East Africa to make its debut on the Egyptian stage

A highly-anticipated debut
wire Middle East Africa is set to make its highly-anticipated debut at the renowned METAL & STEEL EGYPT trade fair in less than two months. Alongside the wire show, three other newcomers, Tube Middle East Africa, METEC Middle East Africa, and GIFA Middle East Africa will simultaneously share the Egyptian stage.
This development comes as a result of a partnership between AGEX, the organizer of METAL & STEEL EGYPT since 2010, and Messe Düsseldorf. “With Egypt, the Middle East, and North Africa, we offer many of our customers new, promising regions. Investing here can be a decisive step towards sustainability for a company," declare Daniel Ryfisch and Malte Seifert of the Düsseldorf group.
Information at a glance
wire Middle East Africa, the international trade fair exclusively dedicated to the wire and cable industry, is expected to run at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo from 2 to 4 September 2023, serving as a platform for manufacturers, suppliers, and professionals to showcase products, discuss industry trends, and forge valuable business connections. The event offers comprehensive coverage of the wire and cable industry, including machinery, equipment, materials, and services, with a particular focus on the Middle East and Africa regions.
Prospects and opportunities in Egypt's wire & cable industry
As a regional economic hub with over 100 million citizens, Egypt boasts a vast domestic market and a diverse industrial base. This positioning is fostering its emergence as an export gateway to other African countries. The oil and gas sector, along with public infrastructure projects, is a major contributor to the country's economic growth, while investments in digitalization and a skilled workforce provide further impetus. With its strategic geographic location, Egypt is an attractive destination for foreign investments, granting access to the African market and burgeoning regional economies. Economic reforms have led to a more dynamic economy, evident in flourishing sectors, like tourism, construction, and telecommunications. The country's ambitious infrastructure projects, such as the New Suez Canal, offer promising prospects for the wire and cable industry, as well as tube and pipe processing sectors. With a robust GDP and steady economic growth, Egypt presents an enticing landscape for business and investment, showing potential for further advancement in the wire and cable machine industry.
