wire/Tube China 2014 - Show Preview

Only three weeks are left before wire/Tube China 2014, that will open its gates on September 24 at the New International Expo Center (SNIEC) in Shanghai.

Following the success of the past five editions - 903 exhibitors, 86,500 square meters exhibition area and 33,469 visitors from 85 countries - wire China and Tube China are drawing more attention than ever before. The All China-International Tube and Pipe Industry Trade Fair (Tube China) is jointly organized once every two years by Metallurgical Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Since its debut in 2004, it has won continental praise in Asia as a tube fair of the highest international calibre.
The organizers of the 6th All China International Wire & Cable Industry trade fair are Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute.


About China's industrial future
China's urbanization rate is estimated to exceed 55% by 2015. According to the show's website, the annual social fixed asset investment will top 30 trillion RMB, with that in infrastructure, e.g. power, construction, real estate, totaling more than a half, bringing rosy market prospects and several business opportunities to wire, cable and tube industries.
The development of high-speed railway networks is reaching the peak. The huge investment in railway construction (over 600 billion RMB a year) guarantees a growing demand of cables, among other things.
