worldsteel participating at Rio +20

worldsteel is participating at the Rio +20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (20 - 22 June 2012) and launching its new publication; ‘Sustainable steel: at the core of a green economy’. The steel industry will be demonstrating the key position steel has had and will continue to have in the successful sustainable development of our society.   The steel industry believes that sustainable development must meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
