WireShow, officially known as the China International Wire & Cable Industry Exhibition, is a prominent biennial event in Shanghai dedicated to the wire and cable sector. Established in the 1980s, it has become a pivotal platform for industry professionals to showcase innovations, exchange insights, and explore business opportunities. The next edition is scheduled for August 27-29, 2025, at the SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Center) in Shanghai.

The 12th edition of WireShow will span five exhibition halls, bringing together exhibitors and attendees from around the world. It will showcase wire and cable manufacturing machinery, auxiliary equipment, raw materials, finished products, measuring technology, and test engineering. The event will also feature technical seminars and forums on industry trends, intelligent manufacturing, green solutions, digital innovation, and sustainability.

About the organizers of WireShow

WireShow is organized by the Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd. (SECRI), a prominent research institution in China dedicated to the wire and cable industry. SECRI is the only research institution in China that integrates R&D, testing services, engineering design, and exhibition and conference organization for the wire and cable industry. Through organizing events like WireShow, SECRI aims to provide a high-quality platform to promote business connections, discover market opportunities, and explore development paths within the wire and cable industry.

About the previous edition of WireShow

The 11th edition of WireShow, held in 2023, was a record-breaking event with 25,000 square meters of exhibition space, over 400 exhibitors, and nearly 15,000 visitors. Organized by SECRI and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai), it showcased wire and cable machinery, materials, finished products, and testing technologies; solidifying its role as a key platform for networking and business opportunities in the global wire and cable industry.
