Cleaners for wire drawing equipment and metalworking compounds
Kodiak develops EZClean™ industrial cleaners for removing metalworking compounds from metals and cleaning wire drawing systems. The range includes mildly alkaline, alkaline, and non-alkaline formulations with different surfactant packages for hot tank immersion, electrolytic, ultrasonic, and other cleaning methods.
EZClean™ cleaners range
EZClean™ CL1: an off-white, granular, free-flowing mixture of mildly alkaline cleaning agents and surfactants for removing a range of metalworking compounds from metals by hot tank immersion. Its mildly alkaline formulation supports improved cleaning safety and very low foaming.
EZClean™ CL2: a high-phosphate, off-white, granular, free-flowing cleaner formulated with mildly alkaline cleaning agents and low-foaming surfactants. It removes a variety of metalworking compounds from metals using cleaning systems of various types while supporting improved safety.
EZClean™ CL139: a clear liquid mixture of alkaline cleaning agents and low-foaming surfactants for removing selected metalworking compounds from metals. It can be used with hot tank immersion, electrolytic, and other cleaning methods.
EZClean™ 464: a heavy-duty alkaline cleaner with low-foaming surfactants for removing selected metalworking compounds from metals by hot tank immersion, electrolytic, and other cleaning methods.
EZClean™ CLADD: a clear liquid mixture of mildly alkaline cleaning agents and surfactants for removing a variety of metalworking compounds from metals by hot tank immersion. It is formulated as a medium-duty cleaner and can be used with or without caustic soda as an additive in heavy-duty cleaning solutions.
EZClean™ CLSC: an off-white concentrated liquid based on non-alkaline cleaning agents and low-foaming surfactants. Designed for wet drawing solutions, it is added one or two shifts before dumping the system to clean the inside of drawing equipment and plumbing before recharging the system.
