This configuration ensures quieter operation, smooth scrap evacuation, and automatic blade gap adjustment for various material thicknesses. Hydraulic covers allow for fast knife changes, while integrated pinch roll units reduce scrap twisting by maintaining consistent tension.

Beyond edge trimming, SALICO’s eccentric rotary shears are also deployed as high-speed scrap removal systems for coil heads and tails. Thanks to their high cutting capacity and proven reliability, these shears are commonly used in continuous lines such as pickling and annealing, especially where accumulator time is limited.
