The SR - 517 - Shredder for wire and cable waste and heavy duty banding tackles many common problems associated with scrap disposal, such as stocking difficulties, fast filling of the scrap containers and high encumbrance. The machine is a chopper that turns the scrap into 75-mm long pieces with a considerable reduction of scrap volumes (20 to 1).
The SR-517 is automatic and as simple to use as pushing a pedal. Once the material is introduced into the feed mouth, the operator needs only to activate the shredder and the material will be automatically pulled inside, where it will be shredded to pieces. The fragments are unloaded into a container promptly placed underneath the shredder.
