Modula Next is the intelligent vertical storage system developed by Modula to improve precision, safety, and control in industrial warehouse picking operations. The system combines vertical automated storage technology with the concept of an industrial vending machine — eliminating picking errors and increasing the traceability of logistics operations.

Through an innovative automated sliding window system, Modula Next grants the operator access exclusively to the correct compartment containing the requested item. This approach drastically reduces picking errors, mix-ups between similar SKUs, unauthorized retrievals, and material damage.
Based on the goods-to-person principle, the system automatically delivers products to the operator bay — improving speed, ergonomics, and operational accuracy.
