Modula Lift is the vertical automated storage system developed by Modula to improve industrial warehouse efficiency through intelligent space management and picking operations. With thousands of installations worldwide, it is one of the most reliable and versatile solutions for intralogistics automation.
The system enables organized, secure, and fully traceable storage of industrial components, spare parts, semi-finished products, tools, and technical materials. Through vertical space development, Modula Lift drastically reduces floor space while increasing storage capacity, productivity, and inventory control.
Based on the goods-to-person principle, the system automatically delivers materials directly to the operator bay, speeding up picking operations and reducing manual travel, operational errors, and search times.
Modula Lift is an ideal solution for all industrial sectors and a wide range of applications — including environments where controlled conditions such as constant humidity and temperature must be maintained. In addition to semi-finished products, components, and spare parts, the system is also widely used for finished goods in the electrical, food & beverage, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic industries.
Its exceptional design flexibility allows configuration across five different tray widths, heights ranging from 3 to 24 meters, and a wide range of options in terms of bay pitch, tray load capacity (from 250 to 990 kg), and depth (654, 857, and 1,257 mm). This extensive customization capability allows Modula Lift to adapt to virtually any space and application — including facilities with low ceilings, architectural constraints, unusual roof structures, or complex logistics layouts.
The system can also be installed against a wall, paired with other Modula storage units, or integrated into complex warehouse layouts, while maintaining a fully self-supporting structure up to 24 meters in height. It can be further configured to meet specific production requirements and integrated with WMS and ERP software to optimize warehouse management and logistics workflows.
