Copper rod and wire drawing lubricants and oils
Kodiak develops EZDraw™ lubricants and additives for copper rod and wire drawing and related processing requirements. The range includes concentrated, semi-synthetic, and synthetic drawing lubricants, as well as products for continuous annealing and lubricant system maintenance. Selected formulations combine lubricity additives, emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, and biocides to support drawing performance, system cleanliness, and bath life.

EZDraw™ CP10: a concentrated copper rod and wire drawing lubricant designed for optimum performance in most drawing applications and specifically formulated to minimize foam build-up in drawing machines.
EZDraw™ CP40: a highly concentrated semi-synthetic lubricant designed for most copper rod and wire drawing applications and most types of water. It is formulated to keep the system clean, provide high pH stability, and extend the amount of time between system drains.
EZDraw™ CP90: a highly concentrated synthetic copper rod and wire drawing lubricant developed for most drawing applications and most types of water. It provides high pH stability and is formulated to keep the system running clean, extend bath life, and maintain a very clean wire surface for processing.
EZDraw™ CQ1: a soluble oil recommended as a quench water additive for the continuous annealing of nonferrous wire. Its formulation helps prevent water spotting and preserves a bright, clean finish on nonferrous wire coating.
EZDraw™ EMULS9: a concentrated blend of emulsifiers and pH buffers that improves the detergency and stability properties of the lubricant solution. It helps extend lubricant solution life while enhancing system cleanliness, metal wetting, and fines filtration.
EZDraw™ PHU: a mild alkaline neutralizer and pH buffering compound for lubricant emulsion systems.
