Precision cutting with eccentric rotary shears

SALICO pioneered the eccentric rotary shear in 1986 and has since installed over 250 units worldwide. These shears combine dynamic response, stiffness, and balance to deliver clean, mark-free cuts at speeds up to 150 m/min and over 250 cuts per minute. For thicker gauges, flying shears handle materials up to 25 mm. The patented camber correction system ensures accurate cutting even on severely cambered coils.

Multi-roller levelers for true flatness

To guarantee flatness “without memory,” SALICO's multi-roller levelers apply over 80% plastic deformation across the strip section. Their smart configuration of roll diameter, pitch, and torque ensures elimination of buckles, crossbows, and coil set—even in advanced high-strength steels. Cassette exchange systems enable quick adaptation to varying thickness ranges.

Zero-inertia vacuum and magnetic stackers

SALICO’s unique stacking technology allows sheets to drop vertically without surface or edge damage, even at high speeds. Originally developed for delicate aluminum, the system is now used across a variety of materials, including stainless and carbon steels, with versions for both vacuum and magnetic stacking.

Auxiliary features for complete integration

SALICO CTL lines can be equipped with:
