FlexFormer® technology for maximum flexibility

At the heart of TTEngineering’s bending solutions lies the patented FlexFormer® system, which merges the precision of traditional 2-roll machines with the versatility typically found in 3-roll designs. The system uses a high-strength urethane lower roll combined with a metal upper roll housed in a CNC-controlled flexible shell. This configuration allows for dynamic forming control and exceptional repeatability.

Thanks to this innovative architecture, the FlexFormer® system virtually eliminates the flat leading edge often present in conventional bending processes and enables the production of multi-radius pipes, ranging from R = 40 mm to R = ∞, with high dimensional consistency and surface quality.

TT2 and TT3 Models – for different thicknesses and diameters

The TT2 model is optimized for thinner sheets, ranging from 0.4 to 1.0 mm, and allows diameter changes without requiring tool changes. It supports pipe diameters from 73 mm to 400 mm, and up to 770 mm when integrated into CSU production lines, with available lengths of 1,000, 1,250, or 1,550 mm.

The TT3 model is engineered for thicker materials, processing sheets from 0.5 to 1.2 mm with the FlexFormer® and up to 2.0 mm using dedicated tooling. It handles diameters from 80 mm to 500 mm, and also up to 770 mm in CSU lines, with the same standard length range.

Both models are equipped with an intuitive touchscreen interface, allowing operators to adjust forming parameters quickly, safely, and with minimal training.
