The latest progress in welding and metal fabrication
WeldExpo 2026 is a central platform for innovations in welding interfaces and industrial joining. It supports India’s push toward advanced manufacturing by showcasing live demonstrations of cutting-edge welding, cutting, laser, and electron-beam systems. The product offering spans additive welding, CNC machining, coatings, automation, safety equipment, and quality control tools. With its strong business orientation, the event fosters OEM engagement, international branding, and high-value buyer-seller interactions.
About the organizers of WeldExpo
WeldExpo is organized by IMTMA (Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association), India’s apex body for metalworking technology, in collaboration with IIW‑India (Indian Institute of Welding), the national branch of the International Institute of Welding. Their partnership combines institutional expertise and technical depth, positioning WeldExpo as a key strategic initiative to strengthen India’s capabilities in welding and joining.
About the previous edition of WeldExpo
The first edition of WeldExpo was held in 2024 alongside IMTEX Forming at BIEC. Introduced as a dedicated pavilion, the show occupied approximately 1,676 square meters and contributed to the overall presence of more than 625 exhibitors and nearly 45,000 trade visitors. Industry feedback was highly positive, with exhibitors reporting quality engagement and strong visitor flow—confirming the relevance of a standalone welding segment within India’s largest forming and fabrication exhibition.
