Wet cleaning systems – TBM series

WiTechs wet cleaning machines use fast-rotating synthetic disc brushes to remove drawing soap and other residues efficiently. The TBM/2B-N can be equipped with an optional drying section for improved moisture removal and an optional compact filtration system to maintain stable cleaning performance during continuous operation.

Dry cleaning systems – Ecowipe series

The Ecowipe system is an inexpensive and ecological process for cleaning wire surfaces in the diameter range of up to 8 mm and a wire process speed of up to 15 m/s.

After drawing the wire to be recommended, the wire is passed through the Ecowipe cleaning device The resulting lubricant / dust falls into two separate scale wagons that can be emptied manually. But it’s highly recommended to install the machine to a dust extraction system. The cleaning effect is ideal to create a cleaner wire surface to reduce waste and downtime at further processes.

Since no chemicals or liquids are required for the application, the surface is mechanically activated and further passivation of the material is sometimes not even necessary. Because it’s not cleaning the wire surface 100%, the wire is still ready for spooling or bending during further processes. The wire will be cleaned up to 80% from lubrication.
