Process options for every application

alkaline degreasing, with or without desmut sections, for general-purpose or heavy-duty cleaning;
neutral detergent washing, for non-etched but fully clean surfaces;
high-pressure hot water systems, often used in stainless applications;
solvent-based cleaning, where specific organic residues need to be removed.

Output quality and process control

Depending on the selected technology and process configuration, SALICO lines can achieve residual contamination levels as low as 1 mg/m² per side, suitable for high-end coating or printing applications. Optional etching or non-etching setups allow for process fine-tuning based on customer specifications.

Modular design and automation

Cleaning sections can be integrated into continuous or coil-to-coil lines and adapted to available space and production speeds. Auxiliary equipment includes: recirculation tanks and filtration units, fume extraction and neutralization systems, DM water treatment, steam generation, and chemical dosing systems, hot air or contact driers, squeegee rolls and quick-exchange systems for brushes and spray bars. Moreover, all systems are built to SALICO’s high automation standards, with full integration into plant-level controls (Level 2 and Level 3) and optional Industry 4.0 connectivity for data tracking, diagnostics, and maintenance planning.
