Diamond tinning dies for copper and alloy wire

Weilly Diamond designs and manufactures high-precision tinning dies used in the hot-dip tinning process to control coating thickness on copper and alloy wires. Each die is made with a diamond for superior wear resistance and consistent coating performance. The casing is produced from titanium alloy, which prevents molten tin from adhering to the surface and ensures long-term stability under high temperatures.

Titanium’s lower density compared to tin allows the die to float in the tin bath, eliminating the risk of sinking and loss during production. Standard casing sizes are Ø25 × 8 mm for wires under 0.399 mm and Ø25 × 10 mm for wires above 0.400 mm, with custom casings available on request.
