EMO Hannover 2025

Founded in 1975, EMO (Exposition Mondiale de la Machine Outil) Hannover is the world’s premier trade fair for production technology. Organized by the VDW (German Machine Tool Builders' Association), the next edition will take place at Hannover from September 22 to 26, 2025. Held biennially in Hannover and Milan, EMO will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025.

A glance in the future of production technology

Under the theme Innovate Manufacturing, EMO offers participants the chance to actively shape the future of global production technology. Exhibitors now focus on comprehensive production solutions beyond metalworking, with an emphasis on industry-wide networking and training. Known for driving innovation, EMO introduces cutting-edge products and services, fostering international collaboration among exhibitors from 45 countries and visitors from 140 nations. It serves as a key platform for industry experts to discuss trends, exchange ideas, and develop solutions for the future of industrial manufacturing.

A shortened edition driven by exhibitors' wishes

EMO Hannover 2025 will be shortened from six to five days, a strategic decision aimed at increasing efficiency. The change responds to exhibitors' preferences, expressed during the 2023 event, to cancel Saturday due to evolving visitor habits and shorter average stay durations. The next EMO will take place from Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26, 2025, with Friday remaining a full day.

Past edition's success

In 2023, Hannover reaffirmed its role as the global center for production technology, hosting over 1,800 exhibitors from more than 40 nations and attracting approximately 92,000 international trade visitors. The event showcased the latest innovations and advancements in the industry, serving as a key platform for networking and collaboration on a global scale.
