When altering the direction of wires and threads there are certain risks which must be avoided as these could endanger the production process. The abrasive effects of wires, fibres and threads running at high speeds can become particularly problematic where extreme changes in direction exert high pressure on the associated guide elements. HOFMANN CERAMIC can provide solutions to ensure the manufacturing process remains safe.
Alongside pulleys for all popular wire-drawing, cable, spinning and weaving machines, HOFMANN CERAMIC also produce pulleys manufactured to your specifications. Based on our knowledge and experience, our high quality pulleys are made of aluminium as standard. Steel, brass, copper and plastic pulleys are also available. Our wear-resistant coatings are made from very abrasion-resistant oxide ceramics - tried, tested and adopted many thousands of times.
As an alternative, we also offer metallic coatings always of the highest surface quality.
